Promoting the development of young people in the Bristol area
1st Bradley Stoke Beaver Section
The Beaver section is for boys and girls aged 6 to 8 years old. The colony meets on a Tuesday evening between 6.30pm and 7.45pm at Holy Trinity Church, Bradley Stoke. This will be changing to a Wednesday evening between 6pm and 7pm from the 12th November 2008.
The colony has grown over the years and now has approximately 20 members, both boys and girls. The events are organised by Jean,Gemma,Jo and Paula.
Our colony takes part in many great activities including:
- Arts & crafts
- Indoor games
- Outdoor games
- Badge work
- Making friends
- Trips
- Guest visitors
... and lots of fun!
Recent guest vistors include police officers and a vet. Recent trips include a visit to Patchway firestation, a day visit to the 'Ton Of Fun' camp and a trip to the St Georges Day Parade in Bath.
Many of the Beavers look forward to moving onto cubs when they are old enough.
The Beaver Colony meets on Tuesday evenings.
